It's really nice in the summer but it is best in the mid to late autumn/fall because of the colours that the leaves have turned.

There are many other good photo locations on the walk round the park, there is a field of cows/buffalo type animals.

You have to pay for parking unless you park in the lay-by on the way up the hill to the entrance, that is where i park (its free)
