If you like waterfalls its great because you can get close. Best if there's been some rain to get the flow going so winter is best. High force is just up the road but I find it boring.

Photography Tips

Make sure you have a general view as well as some nice close ups. Use a shutter speed of around 1/4 sec.

Travel Information

From Midleton in Teesdale follow the B6277 as far as Bowlees just past the turning for the Visitor Centre there is a parking bay. On the opposite side of the road folloe the path to the falls
