Travel Information
Use postcode CA11 0LL for a large pay and display car park, or park in one of the many pay and display areas in the town of Pooley Bridge.
Walk west along the footpath beside the B5320 until the path stops. Continue along the road, or walk in the woodland to your left beside the lake (this is, however, private land and therefore permission from the land owner should be sought before gaining access). Caution should be taken if you choose to continue along the road, which is windy with cars travelling fast in both directions.
The boathouse is visible from the roadside after about a 5 - 8 minute walk from the pay and display car park.
Please note that to gain the best (and safest images, it is necessary to climb down a small wall into the lakeside. Therefore, wellies are a must.
