Lindisfarne is the name of the village on Holy Island in the northeast of England. Lindisfarne Castle was built c. 1550.

Access to the island is dictated by the tides as the causeway is covered for 2-3 hours either side of high tide.

There may be local bus services to the island, check local tourist information. Casr are not permitted in the village so you must park and ride to the village and/or the castle.
