It is quite a trek into the mountains to get here and you should defiantly check the weather before you go to avoid disappointment.
Travel Information
There are two main places to park to walk to here.
The last time I was up here I parked at Honister Pass which gave me a walk of some 2.5 miles and over 1,000 feet of assent. It is also possible to park at Seathwaite which gives a shorter distance but adds nearly another 1,000 feet of assent.
