Travel Information
To reach Alnwick Pastures, drive to Alnwick Castle and park at the main car park on Denwick Lane (postcode NE66 1YU), where a £3.50 fee applies. From there, follow Greenwell Lane to the Market Square, then proceed along Greenwell Lane to the castle entrance. Continue past the entrance, cross the bridge over the River Aln, and take the first left onto a public footpath leading to the pastures. Alternatively, you can start the 3.5-mile walk from Alnwick Market Place, passing through Greenwell Lane and continuing along the river to reach the pastures.
