Fort Albert is a coastal fort located near Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, England, known for its unique design and historical significance. Built in 1856, it was one of the last gun-towers constructed in England. Initially designed to defend the Needles Passage, it became obsolete due to advancements in weaponry and was later adapted for torpedo and observation purposes.
