Winskill Stones is an area of limestone pavements above Stainforth near Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. There are views of Ingleborough and other peaks to the north and given the height it‘s a good spot to capture sunset. At that time of the day the area is exceptionally peaceful.

Just a short drive from Settle (parking right next to the spot), alternatively hike (around 1 hour). From the road climb up to the group of limestones just behind the parking.
