United Kingdom Clovelly Harbour
A picturesque harbour below Clovelly village. The harbour dries out at low tide. There are lots of photo opportunities in the harbour itself as well as with the buildings that surround it. If you can, plan to stay long enough to see the harbour both dry and with water in it. It's worth considering visiting the village and harbour for an entire day.
Clovelly can be very busy at peak holiday times.

Photography Tips
Keep an eye on the water if you venture into the harbour at low tide. It comes in quite quickly.
Travel Information
There is a large car park at the visitor centre at the top of the village. There is a charge for visiting the village and its harbour. However, this is about the same as charges for parking for a day at other nearby locations. The path down through the village is steep and cobbled. Good walking shoes are recommended. The cobbles can be slippery when wet.
A taxi service operates from the harbour. This takes people back to the visitor centre, avoiding the steep walk. There is a charge.
