United Kingdom Clovelly Waterfall
A waterfall onto Clovelly Beach, to the east of Clovelly Harbour. There are lots of photo opportunities around the waterfall and with the rocks on the beach nearby.
Photography Tips
Close up shots of part of the falls are worth considering. As with all waterfalls, try the effect of longer shutter speeds. A tripod might be helpful, but is by no means necessary.
Travel Information
There is a large car park at the visitor centre at the top of the village. There is a charge for visiting the village and its harbour. However, this is about the same as charges for parking for a day at other nearby locations. The path down through the village is steep and cobbled. Good walking shoes are recommended. The cobbles can be slippery when wet.
Walking on the beach itself can be a challenge. It is covered in the same rocks used to make the cobbled streets of the village. Good shoes or hiking boots are definitely recommended.
A taxi service operates from the harbour. This takes people back to the visitor centre, avoiding the steep walk. There is a charge.
