Teignmouth pier is slowly being reclaimed by the sea. While sad to see, the area offers lots of opportunity for long exposure 'minmialist' photography. As well as the pier itself, the beach has a number of groynes nearby.

This sort of photography requires a tripod and neutral density filters to enable long enough exposures to smooth out the sea and sky.

Travel Information

Teignmouth is easily accessible by car, bus and train. There are numerous car parks. However, it is a holiday destination and best avoided in the summer months when it can be very busy.
