United Kingdom Broad Haven South Beach

Broad Haven beach is wide and sandy, with rock formations out to sea. In calmer conditions, long exposure photography is possible, as here, When the sea is rough, waves break on the margins of the beach and on Church Rock, just off shore. Water draining across the beach leaves patterns in the sand too.

Travel Information

There is a large National Trust car park on the top of the cliff just above the beach. There are steps down to the dunes at the back of the beach. The way down involves traversing quite a lot of sand!
The beach can be busy in holiday season.
