Grassed river bank located approximately 900 meters east of Thurne Mill. No fixed address. Large grassed area.

Photography Tips

Take ND and CPL filters, a long lens, I prefer a 24-105mm or a decent 200-300mm with a wide aperture. Stick to f10 for bright sunny days. Tripods are useful but not practical in this area. Plenty of batteries too.

Travel Information

Travel from Norwich train station to Acle. I use my mountain bike. It’s approximately six miles. Once at Acle, travel to Thurne Mill. This route is mostly flat on roads, then transverses to bridal ways, a horse field and woods. Parking is available for vehicles, that said I prefer my bike which is modified for these types of journeys. Thurne Mill is a car ride distance of approximately 18 miles away from Norwich.
