United Kingdom Quayside next to the Ribs of Beef.

This shot was taken at around 100 meters AGL with a Mavic Pro drone. The shot was taken directly over my head at Quayside, left hand side of the river around 80 meters before the boat ramp. This was the safest spot to lift the drone during this snow storm, however, I’d not recommend it to beginners because it’s tight to lift and land and there’s a lot of buildings and magnetic interference in the area. That said it’s an ideal spot to lift the drone giving panoramic views of Elm Hill, the cathedral and Tomb Land.

My advice would be to keep your drone above your head at all times. You have plenty to view the higher or lower you fly. Just avoid flying away from your lift point because the cathedral is home to protected species of bird. Take filters if shooting during sunrise or sunset. Moreover be wary of wintery weather affecting your ability to fly. I kept the drone up for 20 minutes snapping and filming. I’ve many years of experience with all types of drones hence I was confident flying in tight and blustery conditions. E wary of local residents and dog walkers too.

Take the riverside walk and keep following your path with Maps until you reach the bridge. Don’t go beyond the bridge or both the pubs on that side.
