This shot was taken to the right of Cromer Pier on the beach during low tide around 80-150 meters from the pier at a low elevation using the DJI Spark which is ideal for low elevation shots. This spot is excellent for sunset colours.

Photography Tips

Keep the drone low. You don’t need to lift your drone to crazy heights. Lower the better, this will keep detail and colour consistent. Shoot in RAW if possible. The Spark can’t be shot in RAW but can if modded which mine was. Sunset is ideal.

Travel Information

Travel by train from Norwich to Cromer station. Parking is available by car. Walk the 15 minute journey from the station to the pier. Check tide times. Low tide is best because the sun illuminates our rich Norfolk golden sands. Don’t use filters. Beware of seagulls.
