United Kingdom Holme Force, Loweswater
Holme Force is an unusual waterfall in the north-western part of the Lake District. The upper falls, accessible via a steep and often slippery but non-technical climb to the left of the bridge over the falls, forms an arcing spout of water after heavy rain as it deflects off a rock formation.
The lower parts of the falls above and below the bridge are also interesting (an example shot I'm less happy with is included), but this is the most unique element of the falls.

Photography Tips
Needless to say, these spots suit overcast weather and are best after rain. A polariser may be useful to cut out glare and saturate foliage colours. Both spots can be compositionally quite busy, so you'll have to work to minimise distractions or remove them afterwards, which can be complicated.
There's a limited amount of space to shoot the waterfall safely from the left-hand side of the falls. A tripod is required for slow water shots, and may be useful in any case due to low light levels in the woodland at most times of the year.

Travel Information
The closest parking to this spot is either in the lay-by at the north end of Loweswater along the road named "Regional Route 71" on maps, or at the National Trust Maggie's Bridge car park. Both are free at the time of writing. It's then a 30+ minute walk along well-marked paths to the falls itself.
