United Kingdom Thornham Coal Barn
Thornham Coal Barn is a small isolated 18th century building previously used for storing coal for local houses. It's a great spot for some seascape photography on the North Norfolk coast.
Photography Tips
Use the surrounding marsh creeks, crevasses, jetties and boats as foreground interest or leading lines to the barn.
Travel Information
Easy to get to by road. Turn off the A149 at Thornham onto a gravel track called Staithe Lane. You can park in the first car park. Beware, the whole area can flood on spring high tides, but this can make a good composition of the barn too.
