USA Dillard Mill
Tucked between colorful Ozark hills, Dillard Mill, built in 1900, is one of Missouri’s best-preserved examples of a water-powered gristmill. The red mill overlooking the spring-fed Huzzah Creek makes a picturesque place to picnic and hike.
Photography Tips
To get photos from the other side of the Huzzah Creek from the mill, you will have to wade across the creek at a shallow riffle (knee deep, at most) that is downstream from the mill. In warm weather, you can wade it and dry out. In winter weather, you'l need hip waders.
Travel Information
It is a Missouri State Park, so there is lots of parking and a short walking trail (0.2 mile) to the park.
