Michigan's Capital is very interestingly similar to the United States Capital although not as large. The detailed architecture is very interesting when lit up at night. Made for a very nice holiday shot.

Photography Tips

Night photography can be very tricky trying not to get your lights blown out while trying to capture detail from the shadows. You may have to sacrifice some lighting in order to capture others.

Travel Information

Lansing is located in the heart of Michigan north of Ann Arbor and Battle Creek. The capital is located in downtown Lansing near the Grand River which flows through the center of the city. Michigan State University is nearby in East Lansing.
