USA Falls Park, Sioux Falls, South Dakota
There's not a ton of great photographic opportunities in Sioux Falls, but Falls Park is definitely an exception. The Big Sioux River runs through the park, and there are multiple layers of waterfalls that can really add some depth to your landscapes.
Photography Tips
Definitely bring your tripod and neutral density filter(s) to blur the waterfalls/river. The tails of the day are probably best for optimal colors/fewer people, and I'd recommend sunrise over sunset since the rising sun casts a nice light on the falls.
Travel Information
Overnight parking isn't allowed in the park, but if you get there just before sunrise you should have the lot to yourself and shouldn't be hassled by the parking authorities.
