It takes about an hour to walk up from the carpark. In Autumn it snowed on us walking up to the lake. From Dream Lake, you can easily reach two other lakes in the area (Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha) if you want to hike on after starting your day @ Dream Lake.

Photography Tips

Sunrise - the sun will light up the mountain peaks. When I was there the orange light glowed to get 2 photos, then it disappeared and came back yellow for one shot only, then disappeared. No processing required! A 15-35mm on a full frame will be good. Some ND filters to get the water with reflections if it's windy.
