USA Jackson Lake Dam

Jackson Lake dam is one of the lessor visited spots for photography in the Grand Teton area, but it does offer some very nice views. Especially for sunrise when the water is often calm.

Photography Tips

I'm not certain that it is legal to go to the spot where the photo shown was taken. Views from the parking lot or road are not nearly as good, so liberties had to be taken!

Travel Information

There is an official parking lot on the south shore, but the dirt service road on the north side gives closer access to the lake. You must hike up and over the dam to get there.
