A very beautiful but songs very overcrowded the Lady Liberty.
Personally I find the ride with the free Staten Island Ferry is a good place to see the Lady Liberty up close.

For the return trip from New York City to Staten Island you should plan 1.5 hours if you just want to drive back and forth.

Or you can walk around Staten Island for a while! It's worth it at any time of the day!

- Take the subway (1; 4; 5; J; Z; R) to Whitehall ferry port.
- Take the "Staten Island Ferry" to Staten Island for free.
