This is the place where many Western Movies are filmed. Sergio Leone used this spot a lot. It is at the border of Utah and Arizona. Actual spot is in Arizona State though.

Photography Tips

Area is dry and shiny in most part of the year. Whenever I am there a bright sun (it is hot in summer) welcomed me. There are few hotels nearby. I recommend the one run by Navajo Indians. It is about 150-200 bucks excl breakfast.

Travel Information

Very convenient place. It is a State park and you are supposed to pay $20 to get into the park, but it worths. You can drive around in dusty roads so be prepared to come with a SUV or Truck type vehicle. Sedan could be tough. If you prefer to walk, it is fine. But it is about 7 miles walk, so be prepared.
