You can get some wonderful view of the Big Mac (Mackinac Bridge) that connects the Michigan mitten with the Upper Peninsula. There is free parking and if you are the kind who likes to take pics in colder months, they have a nice museum kind of place where you can stand in and be warm and let your gear to do the work for you. Free parking available on the premises.

Photography Tips

This is a nice panorama place, best shot at sunset/sunrise or even at night when the big mac is lighted up. A sturdy tripod is definitely recommended as lake Michigan tends to be quite windy throughout the year.

Travel Information

If you are in lower Michigan, crossing the bridge costs 4 dollar toll (each way!!), but there is free parking within the park.
