USA Cape Disappointment Lighthouse

This lighthouse is at the most southern tip of the Cape Disappointment State Park where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. Another lighthouse is located on the north west side of the park.

Photography Tips

At lower tides, the beach provides a good viewpoint of the lighthouse. During winter storms, I have seen many excellent images of large waves crashing on the rocks.

Travel Information

This is located in the Cape Disappointment State Park. There is parking nearby (located on the map). A short walk over some logs is required to access the beach.
