Photography Tips
Be prepared to make a long drive by 4x4 to get here and try to get there as early as you can and spend the whole day. The formations can change a lot with the movement of the sun. Just wander around and be amazed. If you are pressed for time get a guide who knows the area. They can take you to the best places to photograph and make sure you stay safe.
Travel Information
From Page, AZ take Highway 89A to Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness Area. Find House Rock Road and go North. Find Road 1017 (look for cattle coral on the left) and go East. Go until you find a ranch area where several roads intersect. Take Road 1087 for about 4 miles to Road 1086 and continue for another 5.5 miles to the White Pocket Parking area.
