This spot is just off the parking area for the White Domes Trail at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. The trail itself is absolutely worthwhile but you don’t have to go far to see an incredible variety of colors.

Photography Tips

Arrive early or late in the day both for better light and to avoid throngs of people. This is a very popular area.

Travel Information

From the Valley of Fire Visitor Center, drive 14 miles (22.5km) up the scenic drive (Mouse Tank Road) to the large White Domes parking area. There picnic tables and toilets there.
