Alpine Lake at the end of Avalanche Lake Trail. In clear conditions, there are waterfalls in the background as well. This was taken on a smoky, overcast day.

Photography Tips

Bring a tripod and shoot lower to the ground to be able to catch the colors of the rocks through the clear lake waters. Best time of day is the morning.
