Photography Tips

While this photo was taken from several miles south of Devil’s Tower, there is a large parking area near the it’s base. A wide or super wide lens will be helpful if photographing from near the base. There are several well maintained trails that circle the tower.

Travel Information

I pulled off of Highway 24 just south of the intersection with Highway 110 to take this photo. At that location, there’s a dirt road leading to what I believe is private property but there is ample room to park on the side of that road before the gate.
