A beautiful spot along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Excellent view of Mt. Bachelor. In early summer, you can also see wildflowers.

Photography Tips

Use a wide angle to a normal focal length. For best depth of field, use focus stacking. For this image, I stacked 4 images. Good spot for sunrise and for Milky Way as there is hardly any light pollution.

Travel Information

Park along the road. There is space for 2-3 cars. Note the road is generally closed due to snow from late Oct to late May.
