A less than half mile loop through a tropical rainforest leads past the 442 foot plunge of Akaka Falls. The the entire loop is paved and includes numerous steps but it still feels like your exploring a jungle.

Photography Tips

Best photographed in the morning or early afternoon. Late afternoon is not good to photograph the waterfall but rainforest provides photo opportunities all day.

Travel Information
