Part museum, part zoo, part park. The Desert Museum is a fun place to visit to see animals out of cages. The real fun is the raptor release where large birds fly around in the desert - you are positioned in the middle of their flight.

Photography Tips

Monopod is nice for raptor show as it is a 30 minute show with birds flying all around. Long lens to capture the birds.

Travel Information

Outside Tucson in an area where there are many places to stop for photography. Make sure to check on the raptor show and time your arrival to get there with time.
