This is a very safe pull-off from the curvy road with a very good westward view for sunsets over the Great Smoky Mountains

Photography Tips

Bring a telephoto lens. This one was taken with my Tamron 28-75 because I didn't think to bring my longer lens for landscapes. I had to crop it quite a bit, loosing resolution.

Travel Information

The road can get a bit busy during the summertime. Be careful around the curves on the mountain highway.
