It is an excellent spot to capture the historic Duquesne incline climbing Mt Washington.

Photography Tips

Be patient. The incline does not run on a fixed schedule. It only goes when there are several people on board. Don't forget that both cars run at the same time. you can capture one car going up and then the other one coming down.

Travel Information

You can park at the incline parking lot and take the stairs up to Carson Street. Be careful crossing Carson Street as it is very busy. Find a low spot on the other side and make your way toward the tracks. It is a very active line so NEVER try to stand too near them!
