Another high elevation spot to experience the mountain weather in the RMNP. Here onwards, you have to be worried about lightning in addition to other weather phenomenon as well. But it's worth it.

Photography Tips

Another panorama place, so definitely a wide angle lens would be useful. I am not sure if the long lens (up to 200 mm) would be useful or not. A tripod would be definitely useful as it would be quite windy at these elevations!

Travel Information

You have to have your own transportation to get here and the parking lot is quite big as well.
