This point is just before the Alpine visitor centre, the highest point on the road (>14000 ft) and gives an amazing view of some of the highest mountains within the RMNP looking southwards.

Photography Tips

Another panorama place, so definitely a wide angle lens would be useful. I am not sure if the long lens (up to 200 mm) would be useful or not. A tripod would be definitely useful as it would be quite windy at these elevations!

Travel Information

You have to have your own transportation to get here and the parking lot is quite big as well.
