Just down the road from the Court of the Patriarchs shuttle stop. Early morning after a heavy snowfall is one of the few times one can be completely alone in Zion Canyon.

Photography Tips

After a snowfall, (as is the case anywhere) get there as early as possible to photograph a trackless landscape.

Travel Information

From the intersection of road SR9 and Zion Canyon Road, drive 1.9 miles/3 km to a pullout on the left. When the free park shuttles are running, get off at the Court of the Patriarchs shuttle stop and walk north 0.3 miles/0.5 km to this spot just off the road.
