It took me forever to find this red barn and in the end a friend living in Enumclaw finally came across it. I wanted the classic red barn in front of Mount Rainier shot; here it is.

Photography Tips

I thought the morning shot would work best with cooler light and better colors. Beware though that there is plenty of fog in this valley during the mornings so be patient and wait for a clearing. You will need at least a 70mm lens for this shot across the field and that will also compress the mountain.

Travel Information

Easy parking at the side of the road. Enumclaw is about a one hour drive from down downtown Seattle.
