USA Noccalula Falls

Noccalula Falls is a stunning 90-foot (27-meter) waterfall located in Gadsden, Alabama, within Noccalula Falls Park. The waterfall cascades over a rocky ledge into a gorge below and is one of Alabama’s most famous natural attractions.

Key Features of Noccalula Falls:
The Legend of Noccalula – The falls are named after a Cherokee princess who, according to legend, leaped to her death rather than marry against her will. A bronze statue of Princess Noccalula stands near the falls in her memory.
The Gorge Trail – A scenic 1.7-mile trail that takes visitors down into the gorge, offering breathtaking views from behind the waterfall.
Botanical Gardens – A beautifully landscaped area featuring native plants and flowers.

If you want to see the waterfall at its peak flow, visit in the winter or spring, I visited in the summer/fall and there was bearly any water to speak of.
You can check the flow before you go at https://hazcams.com/station/gadsden-al-us-001. Be aware that shooting from the top of the falls instead of taking the steep hike to the bottom means a LOT of trees and bushes in the way. The park is horrible about not clearing sightlines at the top of the falls.

Plenty of parking to pay for with a short hike to the bottom of the falls.

You can park for free to the right of Jack's, right at the falls, but you can't access the trail down to the bottom of the falls without going through the paid side of the park.

There is also a TON of goose poo on pathways and the grass, so be prepared to watch your feet a lot.
