USA Mescal Movie set
The Mescal Movie set originated in the 1950's as a place for Hollywood to film scenic vistas outside of California. 'Winchester 73' with Jimmy Stewart, 'The Big Country', 'Cimmaron' and others were shot there, and in the 60's they built a western town, which attracted many movie companies including Clint Eastwood for 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'. The set also was the home for 'Tombstone' with Kurt Russel and Val Kilmer, along with 'The Quick and the Dead' with Gene Hackman and 'Tom Horn' with Steve McQueen.
