USA Jenny Lake Overlook
This serene overlook at Jenny Lake offers a picture-perfect view of the Tetons glowing at sunrise. With crystal-clear reflections and rocky foregrounds, it's one of the most iconic spots to capture the beauty of Grand Teton National Park.
Photography Tips
Arrive 30–45 minutes before sunrise to claim a good spot and catch the first light on the peaks. A wide-angle lens works great for capturing the foreground rocks and mountain reflections — use a tripod and consider bracketing exposures for the best dynamic range.
Travel Information
Park at the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. From there, walk the lakeshore trail north for about 5–10 minutes until you reach the rocky shoreline with a clear eastern view of the Tetons. The path is easy and well-marked, and restrooms are nearby.
