USA Moraine Park – Rocky Mountain National Park
This view from Moraine Park captures a gentle creek winding through a wildflower-filled meadow with the Rocky Mountains as a dramatic backdrop. It’s one of the best places in the park to experience wide open scenery, golden morning light, and seasonal blooms.
Photography Tips
Shoot at sunrise for soft light on the peaks and vibrant color across the valley floor. Use a tripod and a longer shutter speed to smooth the water’s motion. A polarizer helps cut glare on the creek and enhances color. Include wildflowers in the foreground for extra depth and visual interest.
Travel Information
You can park at one of the pullouts along Bear Lake Road or at the Cub Lake Trailhead for access to this area. It’s a short, easy walk through flat terrain to reach the best views. This area is also popular with wildlife, especially elk in fall — so arrive early for the best experience and light.
