USA Potter Marsh

Just south of Anchorage, directly at the Seward Highway, lies a special nature reserve. The Potter Marsh wetland was created by diverting the Rabbit Creek to build a railway line and has continued to expand. It is accessible to visitors via wooden boardwalks on stilts and with railings. Particularly fascinating are the swallows here, for which special nesting boxes have been installed.
