Gig Harbor is a quiet little city on the Olympic Peninsula which has the best marina view with Mount Rainier as a background.

Photography Tips

Arrive early enough in the afternoon to catch a setting sun which will provide nice front lighting to the mountain. Do not forget the polarizer filter.

Travel Information

Take into account the traffic along I-5 to arrive on time. Park across from Anthony's and enjoy a cup of clam chowder before or after the shoot. There is a nice viewing site just to the right with benches for you to set up.
