USA Cadillac Mountain
Cadillac Mountain is the highest peak on the U.S. East Coast, located in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, Maine, and is a famous spot for watching the sunrise. Visitors can drive or hike to the summit, but require a timed vehicle reservation from mid-May to mid-October. The mountain provides 360-degree views of coastal landscapes, islands, and Bar Harbor.
Photography Tips
If you are going to shoot sunrise you need to really start booking your pass up to 90 days in advance. Sunset does not seem to be as popular but was definitely worth our time.
