USA Tidal Falls Preserve
At the heart of Tidal Falls Preserve is the spectacular tidal phenomenon known as the reversing falls. Due to the significant tidal shifts in the narrow channel between Hancock and Sullivan, the direction of the water flow changes drastically, creating a captivating display. The best time to witness this natural spectacle is approximately two hours before or after low tide.
Photography Tips
We had a fair amount of wind when we were there. The dappled sunlight made for great shots into the very clear water.
