USA Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge

Tthe Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Complex, is spread over a wide area.The largest ist the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, a magnificent wetlands.
Even the toilet block at the car park with its multi-coloured painting is an invitation.
Although I was only able to hike a small part of this unit in the midsummer weather, I saw lush water areas, forest, solitary trees and a variety of different flowers as well as many different birds and turtles.
