USA Turkey Point (New Jersey, Milky Way Spot)
Turkey Point in New Jersey is considered one of the best and darkest locations in the state for viewing and photographing the Milky Way. Times for Milky Way from there are March to October, with April and September being the two best months (other times can get very buggy).
Photography Tips
There are three ways to capture a milky way well. All require a tripod. For this location, 24-35mm will work well.
1) You can try a 20-30 second single exposure with a high ISO first.
2) On a star tracker you can go with longer exposures
3) if you use additional programs like "Starry landscapestacker" (MAC) or "Sequator" (PC) to "bring the stars" you can take multiple pics of the first two methods and then process it some more to make the milky way pop.

Travel Information
In New Jersey, take I-295 South and then NJ-55 South towards the Delaware Bay shore. When you get close, you must exercise caution on the final local roads leading to the Point as they are known to be rough and frequently flood during high tide.
