This beautiful trail leads through a beech and maple forest with many wildflowers to one of the best viewpoints in the region. From here, you have a wonderful view of Lake Michigan and a large part of the National Lakeshore.

Photography Tips

Use a zoom-lens for a nice composition. Don´t be to hectic. Wait until the first light is coming out that there are some shadow and light plays on the beach.

Travel Information

Parking slot is easy to reach. The trail itself is comfortable for every level of fitness. It's more a walk than a hike. For a roundtrip you need around 3.3 kilometer.
